Paphos (or Pafos) is a city in the South West of Cyprus which is steeped in history. It is most famous for being visited by the apostle Paul and also the mythical birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite. There are many tourist attractions which are well worth seeing and nowadays the nearby Paphos airport supports a steady stream of holiday makers looking to enjoy a break in the sun.
